First Group of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guests Program Received by Islamic Affairs Ministry

The eighth of June, 2024, Makkah; through the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance extended a warm welcome to the initial group of individuals who participated in the program today. The ministry, managing and supervising this project, will host 2,322 male and female pilgrims from over 88 different countries. The custodian of the two holy mosques will oversee the housing of these individuals.Today saw the arrival of the first group, which consisted of thirty-four Muslim pilgrims from the countries of Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Romania, and Montenegro. At Jeddah's King Abdulaziz International Airport, program officials provided a warm welcome to the guests who had arrived.In consultation and collaboration with the embassies of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the ministry's religious attachés overseas, the relevant authorities completed all of the procedures that were necessary to carry out the Royal Order. The approach consisted of managing the selection process and providing the necessary materials to simplify visa procedures in accordance with a comprehensive system that ensures advanced services from the time pilgrims leave their home countries to the time they arrive in the Kingdom to finish their rituals. A number of pilgrims expressed their gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for granting them permission to perform Hajj through this program.
