Cairo, November 22, 2023, The inaugural Gulf-Egyptian Business Forum unfolded in Cairo today, orchestrated by the Federation of the Gulf Cooperation Council Chambers (FGCCC) and the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC). Operating under the overarching theme of 'Business, Investment, and Partnership,' the forum enjoyed sponsorship from the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The event drew the participation of government representatives, commercial chambers, and members of the finance and business communities from both the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Egypt.
The forum comprised several discussion sessions that delved into diverse investment opportunities across sectors such as real estate, agriculture, food industries, tourism, and industrial integration in electricity, water, and renewable energy fields. Notably, it underscored the collaborative potential between the Gulf and Egypt in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, information technology, and digital communications. Additionally, the forum emphasized cooperation in training, exchanging technological experiences, and advancing education. This initiative stands as a significant step towards fostering economic ties and promoting mutually beneficial partnerships between Gulf nations and Egypt.
