flynas launched its first flight between the Red Sea destination and Dammam on December 28, 2024, expanding its domestic network and supporting Saudi Arabia’s travel and tourism industry under Vision 2030.

Riyadh, December 29, 2024 – flynas, the world’s leading low-cost airline and recognized as the best low-cost carrier (LCC) in the Middle East, has marked a significant milestone with the launch of its first flight between the Red Sea destination and Dammam. The inaugural flight, which took off on December 28, 2024, expands flynas’s growing domestic network and further strengthens its position as a key player in the Kingdom’s travel and tourism sector.

The historic flight was celebrated with a special inauguration ceremony held at both King Fahd International Airport in Dammam and Red Sea International Airport. The event was attended by key representatives from flynas, as well as officials from Red Sea International Airport and King Fahd International Airport. The new route serves as a strategic addition to flynas's expanding domestic network, reflecting the airline’s ambitious growth strategy and its alignment with Saudi Arabia’s broader tourism and development goals under Vision 2030.

Effective from December 28, 2024, flynas will operate two weekly flights on this route, connecting King Fahd International Airport in Dammam—one of the airline’s four major operational bases in the Kingdom—to Red Sea International Airport, situated in the northwest region of Saudi Arabia. This new route is expected to boost connectivity to the Red Sea destination, which is a key focus of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative to diversify its economy and position itself as a global tourism hub. The new service also underscores flynas’s commitment to supporting regional growth and development, particularly in local communities near the Red Sea.

By introducing this new flight, flynas not only expands its network but also plays a crucial role in advancing Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector, promoting regional travel, and offering affordable and accessible air travel to both business and leisure travelers. The Red Sea destination, which is part of Saudi Arabia’s ambitious tourism projects, is poised to become a premier attraction in the region, drawing international and domestic tourists alike.

As flynas continues to grow and diversify its offerings, the airline remains dedicated to providing high-quality, budget-friendly travel options, with a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction. The launch of this new route represents just one of the many ways in which flynas is helping to connect communities, drive economic development, and contribute to the Kingdom’s long-term vision of becoming a global tourism leader.
