Riyadh, September 11, 2024 — flynas, renowned as the world's leading low-cost airline and the top LCC in the Middle East, has entered into an exclusive sponsorship deal with Al-Hilal Al-Saudi Club Company. This agreement designates flynas as the official air carrier for the club for the next four sports seasons, extending through to the end of the 2027-2028 season. The sponsorship is part of Saudi Vision 2030's broader strategy to bolster the sports sector's role in supporting both the economy and tourism.
The sponsorship agreement was formalized with flynas CEO Bander Almohanna and Al-Hilal Al-Saudi Club Company Chairman Fahad bin Saad bin Nafel signing the contract. The ceremony was also attended by flynas Chairman Ayed Al Jeaid and other senior executives from both organizations.
Almohanna highlighted that this marks flynas’s first foray into the sports sector, emphasizing its commitment to enhancing the sports industry’s contribution to the economy and tourism. He pointed out that the partnership with Al-Hilal Club aligns with flynas’s status as one of the top four low-cost airlines globally and the best in the Middle East. The collaboration also reflects Al-Hilal’s impressive success both domestically and internationally, complementing flynas’s growth strategy and its mission to connect the world to Saudi Arabia, a nation increasingly recognized as a hub for global sports and competitions.
Al-Hilal Chairman Fahad bin Saad bin Nafel expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, calling it a major milestone and one of the largest deals recently secured by Al-Hilal. He noted that this partnership represents a significant integration of the economic and sports sectors, contributing positively to the goals of Vision 2030.
flynas currently serves over 70 domestic and international destinations with more than 1,500 weekly flights and has transported over 80 million passengers since its inception in 2007. As part of its growth strategy, flynas aims to expand to 165 destinations, under the slogan “We connect the world to the Kingdom,” aligning with the objectives of Vision 2030.
