Dhaka, March 8, 2025 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully distributed food baskets to 500 families in the Bangladeshi cities of Nilphamari and Lalmonirhat as part of the “Etaam” Ramadan Food Basket Project for the year 1446 AH. This initiative, launched on Thursday, directly benefited approximately 2,500 individuals, providing them with essential food supplies to support them throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
The food distribution is part of Saudi Arabia’s broader humanitarian efforts, aimed at alleviating hunger and improving food security for vulnerable populations in various countries around the world. Through KSrelief, the Kingdom continues its steadfast commitment to providing aid to those in need, particularly during Ramadan, a time of charity and giving.
The “Etaam” project focuses on delivering nutritious food packages to families facing economic hardships, ensuring that they have access to the basic necessities of life during the sacred month. These food baskets typically include staple items such as rice, oil, sugar, and other essential ingredients, allowing families to prepare balanced meals during Ramadan.
KSrelief’s humanitarian operations are not limited to food aid but extend to various other initiatives aimed at improving the living conditions of people in need, including health care, education, and emergency relief. This food distribution project reflects the Kingdom’s ongoing dedication to alleviating suffering and promoting stability and well-being in communities around the world.
