Taiz, June 17, 2024 ""In the Yemeni governorates of Taiz and Lahj, 1,287 food baskets were delivered on Friday by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).9,009 people in Taiz's Al-Mawasit, Al-Ma'afer, and Ash Shamayatayn districts as well as the Al Hawtah area of Lahj benefited from this aid. Life-saving food aid will be extended to Yemen's most vulnerable households until 2024. Under the name KSrelief there is a team from Saudi Arabia that is dealing with the hunger crisis in Yemen by providing food supplies which are sent periodically as part of the overall assistance package. In this broad initiative, this program forms part of these wider endeavors.
