The fourth Saudi Feast Food Festival, organized by the Culinary Arts Commission, offers a rich immersive experience of Saudi cuisine through seven distinct zones, highlighting the Kingdom’s diverse culinary heritage and traditions.

Jeddah, November 28, 2024 – The fourth edition of the Saudi Feast Food Festival, organized by the Culinary Arts Commission, officially launched yesterday in Jeddah, promising an unparalleled experience for both food lovers and culture enthusiasts. This year’s festival brings to life the Kingdom’s rich culinary heritage through a series of immersive, interactive events designed to celebrate the flavors, traditions, and regional diversity of Saudi cuisine.

The festival spans across seven distinct zones, each carefully curated to offer something unique to every visitor. One of the main attractions is the Culinary Heritage Zone, which features 13 dedicated sections representing different regions of Saudi Arabia. This zone provides attendees the chance to explore the unique ingredients, cooking methods, and cultural significance behind each region’s traditional dishes, giving a true taste of the Kingdom's diverse food landscape.

A key highlight of the festival is the Workshops Zone, where over 30 hands-on cooking sessions take place throughout the event. This zone is fully equipped with two professional cooking stations, stocked with all the necessary ingredients and tools for preparing authentic Saudi dishes and sweets. Participants have the rare opportunity to learn directly from culinary specialists, both local and international, who share valuable insights into the secrets of traditional cooking techniques and recipes. These workshops aim to both educate and inspire attendees, fostering a deeper connection to Saudi culinary traditions.

Additionally, the Theater Zone offers a vibrant celebration of Saudi culture through a series of musical performances, showcasing the diversity of music from across the Kingdom. For younger visitors, the Children’s Zone provides a fun and educational experience with workshops on Saudi cuisine, along with captivating storytelling sessions that introduce children to the importance of food in Saudi culture. The Competition Zone adds an element of excitement with live cooking contests, where talented Saudi chefs compete to create dishes that reflect both national and regional culinary traditions.

Running for ten days, the Saudi Feast Food Festival is one of the largest celebrations of Saudi cuisine in the country, with ambitions to promote the Kingdom’s culinary heritage on both a local and global scale. This annual event serves as a platform for food lovers to immerse themselves in the flavors of Saudi Arabia, while also encouraging Saudi youth with a passion for cooking to explore entrepreneurial opportunities in the food industry. By positioning Saudi Arabia as a premier destination for food lovers and gastronomic experiences, the festival supports the broader vision of cultural preservation and innovation, encouraging a new generation of chefs and food innovators to celebrate and share Saudi Arabia’s rich culinary legacy.
