The Ford Mustang continues its dominance as America's best-selling sports car, holding the top position for more than 10 years globally. In 2023 alone, over 59,000 customers acquired a Mustang, contributing to nearly 1 million deliveries over the past decade. This success was partly fueled by the launch of the seventh-generation Mustang in North America, with plans to introduce the latest model to customers in various regions worldwide in 2024, including China, Europe, Australia, the Middle East, and South America.
Jeff Marentic, General Manager of North America/Global Truck, Family, and Enthusiast Vehicles at Ford, highlighted the Mustang's historic achievements, surpassing the populations of major cities like Chicago, London, or Seoul in sales. With the upcoming 60th anniversary of the Mustang, Ford unveiled a special Vermillion Red and Ebony Black logo at the New York Auto Show, inspired by the original 1964 World's Fair Mustang's badging and wheel center caps.
Pedro Simões, Director of Ford and Lincoln Marketing, Commercial Vehicles, and Fleet, expressed excitement about introducing the 2024 Mustang Dark Horse to the Middle East, anticipating its success in redefining automotive excellence and continuing the Mustang legacy in the region.
The all-new seventh-generation Mustang offers a range of options, including convertible or coupe models, V8 or turbocharged 4-cylinder engines, manual or automatic transmissions, and various performance levels and price points. The Mustang's versatility extends to racing circuits worldwide with models like the Dark Horse R, Mustang GT3, and Mustang GT4.
