Antalya, April 12, 2025, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah participated today in a coordination meeting of the Ministerial Committee assigned by the Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit on developments in the Gaza Strip, hosted in Antalya, the Republic of Türkiye.
The meeting addressed the recent developments in Palestine, particularly the situation in the Gaza Strip, the initiatives aimed at achieving an immediate and lasting ceasefire, and the crucial need for unrestricted access to increased relief and humanitarian aid.
The meeting focused on enhancing joint action to tackle all Israeli violations of international law and international humanitarian law, including serious violations committed against the Palestinian people. It emphasized the rejection of all forms of displacement, particularly through policies that create unlivable conditions for the Palestinian people, which are regarded as attempts at forced displacement.
Furthermore, the meeting underscored the ongoing commitment to empower the Palestinian people in realizing their inherent rights, especially the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. This objective is to be pursued within the framework of the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution and the peace conference jointly led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of France, scheduled to take place from June 17 to 20 in New York City.
