Riyadh, February 11, 2024, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a strong condemnation of the recent terrorist attack on a military base located in Mogadishu, the Federal Republic of Somalia. This barbaric act resulted in the tragic loss of lives, including numerous Somali military personnel, as well as individuals from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expresses profound sorrow and unequivocally condemns such acts of terrorism.
Emphasizing its steadfast stance against all forms of violence, terrorism, and extremism, the ministry reiterated the Kingdom's unwavering commitment to combatting these heinous acts. Furthermore, it extended complete solidarity and unwavering support to Somalia, the UAE, and Bahrain in the wake of this devastating incident. Heartfelt condolences were extended to the families of the martyrs, as well as to the governments and citizens of the affected nations during this difficult time.
