Jeddah, August 20, 2024 — On Monday, Mazen bin Hamad Al-Hamali, the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs branch in the Makkah Region, welcomed Nigeria’s Consul General Ambassador Muazam Ibrahim Jibrin Nayaya to Jeddah. The meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office, marking an important diplomatic interaction between the Saudi and Nigerian officials.


During the visit, Ambassador Nayaya presented his consular patent, formally introducing himself and officially commencing his role as Nigeria’s Consul General. This ceremonial presentation is a customary part of diplomatic protocol, affirming his credentials and authority in his new position.
