GACA President Inaugurates Air Transport Forum in Riyadh

President Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Duailj of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) inaugurated the Air Transport Forum on Monday, held under the theme "Air Connectivity... Prospects and Challenges." Organized by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in collaboration with the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO), the forum is part of the fifteenth International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Air Services Negotiations (ICAN 2023) Event. Arab air transport experts joined the forum, which took place at the Hilton Hotel in Riyadh.


In his address, Al-Duailj emphasized that choosing Saudi Arabia to host the first session of the forum reflects the nation's leading position in the air transport industry and recognizes its efforts in global connectivity. He highlighted the pivotal role of the air transport industry in contributing to the GDP, supporting tourism, generating job opportunities, and aiding the success and growth of various economic and industrial sectors in the Kingdom.


President Al-Duailj concluded his speech by affirming the Kingdom's leadership's commitment to supporting and advancing the civil aviation industry, solidifying Saudi Arabia's leading role in the region.
