Riyadh, January 30, 2024, President of the UAE's Accountability Authority Humaid Abu Shabas and his entourage were met today at the GCA headquarters in Riyadh by Dr. Hussam Al-Angari, President of the General Court of Audit (GCA).
Al-Angari emphasized during the meeting the importance of the visit and its role in strengthening collaboration and coordination between the Accountability Authority in the United Arab Emirates and the GCA in the Kingdom.
Abu Shabas conveyed his desire to strengthen collaboration across all domains.
Information about GCA's proficiency in finance, compliance, and performance auditing was given to the visiting group. They also received an update on GCA's digital technology initiatives and transformation, which allow for electronic audit operations via the Shamel platform.
Both parties' officials were present for the meeting.
