Tashkent, April 14, 2024, Today in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on the sidelines of the second ministerial meeting of the Strategic Dialogue between GCC countries and Central Asian states, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, met with Sirojiddin Muhriddin, the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During their meeting, they delved into a range of topics, highlighting the significance of strengthening partnership opportunities between the GCC and Tajikistan for mutual advancement. They also discussed updates regarding the memorandum of understanding signed between the GCC and Tajikistan in 2022, alongside engaging in conversations about regional and international matters of importance.
As the meeting drew to a close, the Tajikistani foreign minister extended an official invitation to the GCC secretary-general, inviting him to visit Tajikistan in the near future. This proposed visit aims to further foster discussions and bolster relations between the GCC and Tajikistan, underlining the commitment to enhancing cooperation and collaboration between the two entities.
