GCC Secretary General Confirms 158th Ministerial Meeting Ahead of 44th Supreme Council Session

The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, has announced the convening of the 158th Ministerial Meeting set for tomorrow. This meeting serves as a crucial precursor to the 44th session of the Supreme Council of the GCC, scheduled to be held in Doha, Qatar. Chaired by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, the session will include the participation of GCC Ministers of Foreign Affairs.


Albudaiwi emphasized the significance of the upcoming ministerial meeting in continuing preparations for the commencement of the 44th session, which will welcome the leaders of the GCC countries. The meeting's agenda will encompass discussions on reports, including the implementation status of decisions from the 43rd summit in Riyadh, as well as memoranda and reports presented by ministerial and technical committees along with the General Secretariat.


Topics to be addressed include dialogues and strategic relations between GCC nations and international entities, along with updates on regional and international developments.
