Riyadh, Aug 24, 2023, Jasem Mohamed Al-Budaiwi, the secretary general of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States, stressed the strategic significance of the ties between the GCC member nations and the United States of America. Al-Budaiwi emphasized the importance of these ties in advancing coordination, consultation, and cooperation between the two sides in all areas during a phone chat on Wednesday with Daniel Benaim, the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Arabian Peninsula Affairs. The two sides stressed the value of their expanding strategic alliances during the call, given how crucial they are to promoting stability, peace, and economic growth in the Middle East. Al-Budaiwi emphasized that the GCC nations always seek to contribute to world security and stability by establishing strategic alliances with other nations and regional and global organizations.
