Muscat, October 31, 2023, Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), emphasized the significant role played by the council's committee of ministers responsible for housing affairs in enhancing cooperation, coordination, and integration within the GCC nations in the housing sector. The press release coincided with the 21st meeting of this committee, which was convened in Muscat, Oman, under the leadership of Dr. Khalfan bin Saeed Al Shuaili, the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning in the Sultanate of Oman and the current session's chairman. The meeting was attended by housing affairs ministers from the GCC countries.
During the meeting, various pivotal topics were discussed to bolster collaborative efforts in the realm of Gulf housing initiatives. In response to these deliberations, Albudaiwi expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the dedicated efforts of the senior Housing Committee members in preparing for the meeting, as stated in the release.
