Jazan, October 09, 2023, An attempt to transport 122 kilograms of hashish was successfully foiled by the General Directorate for Narcotics Control (GDNC), working in tandem with the General Directorate of the Border Guards. Along with the confiscation of weapons and live ammunition, two civilians were detained in the Jazan region. The smugglers have been subjected to legal action, and the Public Prosecution has been notified of the situation. Security officials ask the public to call 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Areas and 999 in the remaining regions of the Kingdom to report information about drug smuggling or selling.
