GDNC arrests Egyptians, Saudis in Eastern Region trafficking 20,000 Amphetamine pills

Dammam, January 27, 2024, The General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) apprehended two Egyptians and two Saudis in the Eastern Region on charges of trafficking 20,000 Amphetamine pills. The individuals in question have been taken into custody and subsequently handed over to the Public Prosecution Office to undergo legal proceedings.

In an effort to combat drug-related activities, security authorities are urging both citizens and residents to provide any available information regarding drug smuggling or trafficking to the GDNC. They can do so by reaching out through specific hotlines, such as 911 for Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Region, and 999 for other regions. Additionally, individuals can report relevant information via email at [email protected]. It is emphasized that all calls and communications will be treated with the highest level of confidentiality.
