Abha, September 19, 2023, The General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) in Asir Region detained two Indian nationals for attempting to smuggle 126 kilograms of khat. The GDNC forwarded the individuals to the appropriate agencies. The security agencies are urging the public to call 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province to report any information regarding drug smuggling or promotion, and 999 in all other regions of the Kingdom. Additionally, they can contact the General Directorate of Narcotics Control by dialing 995 or sending an email to [email protected]. All reports will be treated with complete discretion.
