Riyadh, January 17, 2023, The Chairman of the Board of Directors for the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al Al-Sheikh, has revealed exciting plans for the upcoming "Riyadh Season." On February 24, the Kingdom Arena will play host to a groundbreaking event – the PFL Champions vs Bellator Champions, where elite mixed martial arts (MMA) competitors from the Professional Fighters League (PFL) will face off against Bellator champions.
Al Al-Sheikh expressed his enthusiasm for this unprecedented event, stating, "We are pleased to host this unprecedented event in Riyadh Season, which will witness super thrilling confrontations and open new horizons in martial arts, as the PFL Champions vs Bellator Champions is the world’s largest show of its kind."
The inaugural fight card boasts four co-main fights featuring current PFL Champions against current Bellator Champions. Additionally, two captivating matchups will showcase previous PFL title challengers against former Bellator title challengers. Fans worldwide can catch all the action on the live sports streaming service, DAZN.
Notably, the PFL PPV Super Fight event will showcase seven matchups featuring current and former champions, as well as title challengers from both PFL and Bellator. This exciting event will be available on DAZN and ESPN+PPV, commencing at 11:00 pm Riyadh time. Three main shows are also set to captivate audiences during the preliminary streaming of the main fights, available on ESPN+ and ESPNEWS platforms starting from 8:00 pm Riyadh time.
