Ghana and Saudi Arabia Expand Their Partnership in Agriculture and Food Security

May 11, 2024, Riyadh; Environment, Water, and Agriculture Minister Eng. During Alfadley's tour of Africa, he and Dr. Bryan Acheampong, Ghana's Minister of Food and Agriculture, came to an agreement that would improve ties and expand investment opportunities in livestock, fisheries, agriculture, and food security. While Alfadley was in Ghana, an agreement was reached.


The two officials decided to cooperate in order to promote the common interest, facilitate investment in their nations, and broaden the scope of their economic partnership.


Alfadley's African tour, which was a component of the efforts to carry out the decisions made at the recent Saudi-African Summit, included stops in Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Nigeria, and Ghana.


The goal of the tour is to improve relations and cooperation between Saudi Arabia and African nations.
