GOSI, Public Health Authority Sign Deal on Technological Integration

Riyadh, October 24, 2024 — In a significant stride towards enhancing service delivery in Saudi Arabia, the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) and the Public Health Authority have formalized a cooperation agreement aimed at achieving technological integration between the two organizations. This landmark agreement was signed at the Global Health Exhibition, taking place at the Riyadh Convention and Exhibition Center in Malham.

The partnership reflects both entities' commitment to fostering collaboration and optimizing strategic decision-making through coordinated efforts. By integrating their technological frameworks, GOSI and the Public Health Authority seek to streamline operations, improve service efficiency, and ultimately enhance the quality of services delivered to the public.

As the primary body responsible for providing insurance protection to workers across the Kingdom, GOSI plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the rights and welfare of the labor force. This agreement not only aligns with its mission but also supports the Public Health Authority in its objectives to promote and protect public health.

Key aspects of the agreement include the development of joint initiatives that leverage technological advancements to create a more cohesive service ecosystem. By breaking down silos and fostering data sharing, both organizations aim to deliver more responsive and tailored services to citizens, reflecting their unique mandates while ensuring alignment with national goals.

This collaboration is part of GOSI’s broader strategy to enhance partnerships with various governmental and private entities, with a focus on achieving effective system integration and improving overall performance. The initiative underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to harnessing technology in public service delivery, paving the way for a more efficient and effective administrative landscape.

As the Kingdom continues to embrace digital transformation, this agreement marks a crucial step in the evolution of social insurance and public health services, ensuring that they remain at the forefront of innovation and responsiveness to the needs of the populace.
