Makkah, March 24, 2025 – The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, in partnership with charitable organizations, distributes over 200,000 iftar meals daily at the Grand Mosque in Makkah.


More than 3,000 staff members and 1,000 volunteers oversee 3,200 iftar spreads, stretching a total of 50 kilometers. Cleanup operations are efficiently completed within five minutes after iftar.


These efforts follow strict health and organizational standards to ensure the safety and comfort of worshippers in designated iftar areas inside the mosque and its courtyards.
