Makkah, March 08, 2025 – In a significant initiative aimed at supporting families visiting the Grand Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan, the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has established specialized centers to host and care for children. These centers, which operate around the clock, provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, allowing parents to focus on their spiritual duties while ensuring their children's well-being.
The centers cater to children aged between 1.5 and 9 years, offering a comprehensive range of educational and entertainment programs designed to engage young minds. These programs not only entertain but also foster essential skills and values, particularly emphasizing the importance of helping the visitors of the Grand Mosque during the blessed month of Ramadan. Children are introduced to Quran lessons, educational stories, and a variety of creative activities that promote learning and personal growth.
Each center is overseen by a team of childhood development specialists who ensure that the children receive the best care in a well-organized environment. The facilities include dedicated spaces for watching educational videos, as well as rooms for resting and sleeping, ensuring that children are comfortable and well-rested throughout their time at the centers. Additionally, the centers provide nutritious meals, further enhancing the overall experience for young visitors.
This initiative reflects the General Authority's commitment to offering comprehensive support services to visitors of the Grand Mosque, ensuring that the experience for both parents and children is enriching and stress-free during the sacred month of Ramadan. By providing a secure and educational space for children, the authority is making it easier for families to engage in spiritual activities, knowing their children are in good hands.
