Gulf Scientific Olympiad Starts in Madinah

Specialized workshops led by scientific teams will provide participants with hands-on experiences, helping them discover their interests and future aspirations in the STEM fields.
The tenth Gulf Scientific Olympiad, organized by ABEGS in partnership with the Ministry of Education, began on October 13, 2024, in Madinah, featuring 84 students and 44 supervisors competing in mathematics, chemistry, and physics.

Madinah, October 13, 2024 – The tenth edition of the Gulf Scientific Olympiad officially commenced today in the historic city of Madinah, organized by the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States (ABEGS) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education. This prestigious event, which runs from October 12 to 15, is hosted by the Madinah Education Department and brings together young scientific talent from across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member countries.


With participation from 84 students and 44 supervisors, the Olympiad encompasses rigorous competitions in mathematics, chemistry, and physics. This annual gathering not only highlights the academic prowess of the participants but also serves as a platform for fostering collaboration and communication among those passionate about scientific pursuits.
