On September 18, 2024, the Hail Region Municipality finalized its preparations for the upcoming 94th Saudi National Day, set to take place on Monday, September 23, under the theme "We Dream and We Achieve." The region is now adorned with national flags and vibrant green lights, enhancing government buildings, public areas, roads, and parks. Anticipation is growing as a series of national events and activities are organized to celebrate this important day.
Saud Aalali, the assistant mayor for media in Hail, emphasized that the preparations include the creation of cohesive visual displays and heartfelt congratulatory messages directed at the leadership. Strategic placements of television screens along major roads and captivating green lighting illuminating the mountains and buildings have added to the festive atmosphere. National flags are prominently displayed in public squares and along roadways, complemented by artistic sculptures.
Additionally, the city has revitalized its entrances and main roads, ensuring public gardens and parks are ready for visitors. On National Day, gifts will be distributed at various public locations. As the celebration nears, Hail is poised for an energetic commemoration, featuring balloon releases, orchestral performances, traditional Samri music and dance, horse parades, and fireworks at Prince Saud bin Abdul Mohsen Park. Exciting events will also take place at Alsalam Park, including a dazzling fireworks display and a series of musical concerts at Al-Mughwa Park on September 22 and 23, paired with spectacular light shows and artistic performances.
