Hail, January 13, 2025 – The Handicrafts Festival (HARFA), organized by the Hail Region Principality, has successfully brought together artisans from across the region’s governorates, providing them with a dynamic platform to showcase their diverse skills and artistic creativity. The festival, which aims to educate the public about the rich traditions and craftsmanship of the area, has become a celebrated event for both locals and tourists, offering visitors the opportunity to appreciate and acquire handcrafted items that represent the cultural essence of the Hail region.
At the heart of the festival’s offerings are the remarkable contributions from female artisans, who have demonstrated their expertise through the intricate embroidery of Thamudic inscriptions and the creation of rare, stone-embellished women's abayas. These intricate designs, deeply rooted in the Hail region’s archaeological heritage, offer a glimpse into the past while showcasing the enduring talents of local women.
