Hail, January 13, 2025 – The Handicrafts Festival (HARFA), organized by the Hail Region Principality, has successfully brought together artisans from across the region’s governorates, providing them with a dynamic platform to showcase their diverse skills and artistic creativity. The festival, which aims to educate the public about the rich traditions and craftsmanship of the area, has become a celebrated event for both locals and tourists, offering visitors the opportunity to appreciate and acquire handcrafted items that represent the cultural essence of the Hail region.

At the heart of the festival’s offerings are the remarkable contributions from female artisans, who have demonstrated their expertise through the intricate embroidery of Thamudic inscriptions and the creation of rare, stone-embellished women's abayas. Among the exhibits were scale models of local houses and their furnishings, as well as replicas of mud dwellings, offering a visual representation of traditional Najdi architecture. The pavilion also featured a collection of historical artifacts, including rare items that painted a vivid picture of the region’s cultural evolution.

Meanwhile, Sumira Governorate captivated visitors with its exhibit of traditional weaponry, including daggers and swords, each adorned with precious stones and demonstrating the region's deep-rooted history of craftsmanship.
