Hajj Media Hub' is concluded by the Ministry of Media, with over 2,000 attendees.

Makkah, June 18, 2024. The first iteration of the "Hajj Media Hub" program came to an end last evening, as announced by the Ministry of Media. The hub was hosted in Makkah from the 4th to the 10th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1445 AH. It was organized in strategic coordination with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah as well as the Guest Service Program. About two thousand people, including journalists, media professionals, and tourists, attended the hub. Ministers, communication directors, and media directors from both the public and private sectors were among those in attendance.More than 150 local, Arab, and international media outlets worldwide used the hub's media and technical services. The "Transformation Window" exhibition featured over fifteen different business and governmental institutions during the forum. The event was held at the Makkah Exhibition and Events Center, which had 11 zones and 6,000 square meters. The Makkah Chamber of Commerce hosted the event.


More than 1,450 registered journalists from all over the world used the Virtual Press Center (VPC) initiative. The platform stored a total of 2,920 files and published 1,005 news articles. Throughout the entirety of its existence, the forum included live and recorded broadcasts from a wide range of local and worldwide media outlets. This provided a diverse range of coverage from the hub's headquarters, which is comprised of studios, dedicated rooms, and live broadcast vehicles.For the past three days, the hub has hosted the daily news conference for Hajj 1445 AH. The conference was attended by official representatives from the Ministry of Interior Security, Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. The center played a role in providing modern communication and media technology in relation to the Ministry of Media`s Year of Media Transformation project. This led to an enhanced way through which Hajj could be reported upon by both local and foreign media outlets.
