Riyadh, May 11, 2024 – Prince Fahad bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz, Vice President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC), will lead the delegation from the Kingdom attending the 43rd Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) General Assembly today in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, on behalf of SOPC Chairman Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal Al-Saud.
The assembly will discuss proposed changes to the OCA's statutes as well as updates on the following four events: the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan in November; the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China in February 2025; the 2025 Asian Youth Games in Tashkent, Uzbekistan; and the 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Bangkok and Chonburi, Thailand in November Japan in 2026.
