Paris, January 23, 2024, Today, Health Minister Fahd bin Abdurrahman Al-Jalajel arrived in Paris, leading a Saudi delegation for active participation in the Ministerial Health Meeting, an integral component of the Economic Forum hosted by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
The minister's schedule encompasses participation in the High-Level Policy Forum, engagement in bilateral meetings, and attendance at a ministerial dinner hosted by the French Ministry of Health for OECD member nations. On Tuesday, Al-Jalajel will contribute to the official sessions of the OECD Health Ministerial Meeting under the theme "Better Policies for More Resilient Health Systems." The discussions will revolve around health challenges and strategies to bolster countries' resilience in the face of epidemics.
In the course of his visit, the health minister will conduct various meetings with ministers from diverse countries and international health officials on the sidelines of the OECD meetings, focusing on collaborative opportunities. The minister and the accompanying delegation initiated their visit with a tour of Paris Necker Hospital, exploring cutting-edge technologies and innovations in healthcare and emergency services. Discussions centered on ways to strengthen health cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and France.
