Islamabad, March 26, 2024, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has extended vital support to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan by distributing 1,950 food baskets, which in turn benefitted 13,650 individuals in need. These essential provisions were allocated to the most vulnerable communities residing in flood-affected regions across Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur districts in Punjab province, as well as Gwadar district in Balochistan.
This compassionate assistance forms an integral component of the "Etaam" Ramadan food basket project in Pakistan for the year 1445 AH, aiming to alleviate the hardships faced by those grappling with food insecurity during the holy month. Such initiatives are emblematic of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's steadfast commitment to global humanitarian and relief efforts, spearheaded by KSrelief, to provide aid and support to vulnerable and affected populations worldwide.
