Holy Sites' Health Services Are Ready, Says a Health Minister


Inspection trips by the Minister of Health to review the standard of medical care within the holy sites.



The minister inspected several health facilities in Makkah, including the headquarters of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, the Makkah Health Cluster, besides the medical facilities that were in Arafat and Mina.



The minister's visit opened the National Center for Health Crisis and Disaster Management at the holy sites and also proved the devotion to ensure the highest possible level of service delivery to the pilgrims.



The Health Minister Fahd bin Abdurrahman Al-Jalajel carried a series of comprehensive inspection trips yesterday in the holy sites to make a comprehensive assessment of the level of medical service given at the holy sites. He visited offices of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, the Makkah Health Cluster, and the medical units in Arafat and Mina, all in the Makkah region. Since the beginning of this pilgrimage season of 1445H, many tours have been conducted to ensure the pilgrims receive a higher level of medical care. The minister succeeded in inaugurating the National Center for Health Crisis and Disaster Management at the holy sites. And he has inspected the health-care facilities in Mina, which included the Mina Al-Wadi Hospital and Mina Emergency Hospital. Various tours were conducted on the private sector facilities as well.


The visit of the minister showed that the ministry of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince delivers the devotion to show the utmost level of service delivery to the pilgrims and also achieves the values and goals associated with the Health Sector Transformation Program and also the Saudi Vision 2030.
