HRH Crown Prince and the President-elect of Indonesia Talk About International Developments and Cooperation in Jeddah


Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, met with Prabowo Subianto in Riyadh. Mr. Subianto is the Indonesian defense minister in addition to being the country's second-best candidate for president.


The meeting's objective was to talk about ways Saudi Arabia and Indonesia could collaborate further on several fronts.


Regional and global challenges were taken into consideration, as well as their remedies.


On Wednesday, June 13th, 2024, Jeddah" His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia extended warm welcome to the incoming president of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto who is also the country's defense minister in Riyadh.


 In the meeting, the two discussed the present situation of the relation between Saudi and Indonesia, elaborating on other areas of mutual cooperation between the two countries within a wide range of fields. Additionally, they discussed international and regional issues and how these could be addressed. In attendance were the Saudi Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, and Minister of State, Member of Cabinet, and National Security Adviser Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban. All of these individuals were Saudi nationals. There were a number of Indonesian officials there, such as the Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Abdul Aziz Ahmad, the Consul General in Jeddah, Yusron Bahauddin Ambary, and the Defense Attaché of Indonesia, Eri Nasuhi.
