HRH the Crown Prince Condoles Nepal President Over Flood, Landslide Victims


Riyadh, October 2, 2024 – His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, expressed his deep sorrow and solidarity with the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal following the tragic floods and landslides that have devastated parts of the country. In a formal communication, Prince Mohammed bin Salman extended his sincere condolences to the President of Nepal, His Excellency Ram Chandra Paudel, conveying the Kingdom’s empathy for the heavy loss of life and destruction caused by these natural disasters.



The Crown Prince offered his profound sympathies to the grieving families of those who lost their lives, recognizing the profound impact of such calamities on the Nepalese people. His Royal Highness also conveyed his hopes and prayers for the safe return of those still missing, and for the full and swift recovery of the injured. Additionally, the message underscored the enduring bonds of friendship between Saudi Arabia and Nepal, emphasizing Saudi Arabia's concern for the well-being of the Nepalese population during this difficult time.



In his statement, the Crown Prince reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s readiness to stand by the people of Nepal, offering support and assistance as needed. His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of international solidarity in the face of such catastrophes and assured the Nepalese people of the Kingdom’s prayers for their safety and recovery.
