Prince Mohammed bin Salman met with Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Abbas Araghchi to discuss Saudi-Iranian relations and regional developments.

On October 10, 2024, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, hosted a significant meeting in Riyadh with Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Abbas Araghchi. This meeting aimed to discuss the bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran, as well as the latest developments in the region and the collaborative efforts being undertaken to address mutual concerns.


The meeting was attended by several key Saudi officials, including Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, and Minister of State, Cabinet Member, and National Security Adviser Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban. Additionally, the Iranian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Alireza Enayati, was present, along with senior officials from the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.


The discussions between the two leaders reflect a continued commitment to enhancing dialogue and cooperation between the two nations, particularly in the context of evolving regional dynamics. This meeting highlights the importance of diplomacy in addressing challenges and fostering stability in the region.
