Riyadh, October 23, 2024 – His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, welcomed US Secretary of State Antony Blinken for a pivotal meeting in Riyadh today. The discussions reaffirmed the deep and strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and the United States, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring further avenues for cooperation across various sectors.
A central theme of the discussions was the current regional and international landscape, with particular attention given to the crises in Gaza and Lebanon. Both leaders reviewed the ongoing military operations in these areas and shared their concerns about the humanitarian and security challenges arising from the conflicts.
