Hyundai unveils seventh-generation Azera sedan in Middle East

The seventh-generation Azera flagship sedan was unveiled today in the Middle East markets by Hyundai Motor Company Middle East & Africa HQ.

Since its debut in 1986, the all-new Azera has remained loyal to its roots of sophisticated premium quality and luxury. The all-new model offers bold lines, a wide range of cutting-edge technologies, and cutting-edge features to give passengers an exceptional level of comfort.

Mr. Bryan Park, Head of Hyundai Middle East & Africa HQ, commented on the introduction of the brand-new sedan flagship, saying: "As a beautifully proportioned premium large sedan, the all-new Azera is reborn with a design that transcends generations and preferences with an impressive fusion of art and technology and impressive performance.

The model's appearance is expertly sculpted and attractively proportioned, drawing influence from Hyundai Motor's vision for future mobility.

5,035 mm is 45 mm longer than the previous generation's Azera for the brand-new model. The all-new Azera gracefully bears its new proportions thanks to a 50 mm longer rear overhang and a 10 mm larger wheelbase, with the added benefit of a roomier interior.

The reduced height of the vehicle and its pushed-back C-pillars and cowl point give it a dynamic, distinctively expensive look. The brand-new Azera features clean lines and tidy features, from the headlamps to the rear lamps. Its frameless door and automatic flush-type door handle, in particular, contribute to its stylish appearance. The front of the sedan is adorned with a distinctive horizontal daytime driving and positioning lamp that makes a commanding entrance.

The all-new Azera's interior is designed with a minimalistic approach that emphasizes ergonomics, intuitive technologies, and user convenience to provide a spacious yet premium feeling that encourages comfort and relaxation. It also features inspired details, a premium feel, and intuitive technologies. The dashboard feeds into the wrap-around architecture.

The premium sedan prioritizes the needs of its customers, which is particularly clear in the two well-equipped trim levels it offers: "Base" and "Calligraphy. Base Trim is distinguished by its slim ergonomic design, which improves usability and creates a minimalistic, high-quality emotional space with a broad sense of space.

While the "Calligraphy" has a premium trim for a flagship large sedan, it leads a premium image with an exclusive "Calligraphy-only" differentiated interior and equipment.

offering a serenely silent interior made possible by noise-cancelling tires, soundproof glass, and carpet that can be removed. For passengers in the second row, there are also reclining seats and electrically adjustable window curtains.

The crash pad garnish's mood lighting emits different colors depending on the situation, such as the ignition being turned on, the drive mode, and voice recognition, which heightens the sense of connection and involvement with the vehicle. A 10.25-inch full-touch air conditioning controller is positioned ergonomically and harmoniously above an amazing 12.3-inch cluster display panel with an integrated navigation system in the center console, giving it a high-tech appearance and feel.

Four LED lights are applied to the center horn cover of the one-spoke steering wheel, which brings to mind the first-generation Azera. These lights work in tandem with the driver's vehicle operation and speech recognition. In order to facilitate intuitive operation by aligning the shift operation direction with the driving direction, the column-type electronic shift lever is now located behind the steering wheel. Its relocation also gives the center console a tidy appearance and makes the interior space more functional.

The interior trim and colors of the all-new Azera draw their inspiration from the hues and patterns found in nature as well as traditional Korean design. Artificial elements have also been eliminated in favor of eco-friendly materials, such as leather that has undergone natural vegetable dyeing and a color coating made of bamboo.

Two engine choices are available for the brand-new Azera, which has an optimized powertrain and cutting-edge safety features. The 3.5-liter GDi engine option offers a maximum of 300 horsepower and 36.6 kgf-m of torque. The 1.6-liter gasoline turbo hybrid engine's top output and torque numbers are 180 ps and 27.0 kgf-m, respectively.

The brand-new Azera comes in a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) type that uses E-Motion Drive, which combines E-Comfort Drive mode for a more comfortable driving experience with E-Dynamic Drive for steady, dynamic performance during acceleration and cornering.

The all-new Azera is the first model to have Hyundai Motor's innovative infotainment system, Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC), ushering in a new era of smart mobility. The recently released ccNC combines the heads-up display (HUD), cluster, and navigation into one fluid graphical user interface.

The sedan also has cutting-edge in-car audio technology. Low-quality media sources, such as MP3s, can be converted into high-quality sound using the Bose premium sound system and the "Sound True" algorithm that has been specially tailored for the Azera. Bose's Center Point 360 surround technology also provides a more immersive audio experience within the car.

The brand-new Azera also comes with a number of cutting-edge convenience and safety features, some of which may have positive health effects. Passengers frequently touch the seats and other surfaces, which are constructed of antibacterial-treated materials.

In order to reduce driver stress and create a more comfortable driving experience, the new model offers the Hyundai Smart Sense system, which consists of safety features like Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 1.5 (FCA1.5), Reverse Parking Collision Avoidance Assist (PCA), Blindspot View Monitor (BVM), and Safe Exit Assist (SEA).

The motorist can depart and enter parking spaces with ease thanks to Remote Smart Parking Assist. The brand-new Azera will also use reverse guide lighting during reversing movements to alert other vehicles and pedestrians of its planned path.
