Vienna, September 25, 2023, Rafael Grossi, the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Arabian minister of energy and chairman of the board of directors of King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE), signed the "Junior Professionals Program Agreement" today. The signing ceremony took place in Vienna, the capital of Austria, during the 67th Regular Session of the IAEA General Conference. The agreement intends to teach and develop young national human resources in a variety of subjects connected to the IAEA's technical elements and beyond, enabling them to develop competence in fields that support the UN agency and address global challenges discussed on its premises.
