ICCIT 2023: 3 countries, 122 accepted papers, 100% increase

Tabuk, September 16, 2023, Three countries participated widely in the Third International Conference on Computing and Information Technology (ICCIT) 2023, which was held at the University of Tabuk for two days. A total of 122 of the 518 scientific research papers presented at the conference were accepted, an increase of 100% from the previous conference. The innovative use of computing, information technology, and engineering in the Saudi scientific research projects that took part in the conference It concentrated on how artificial intelligence, information security, information systems, and engineering will look in the future. Out of 33 countries participating in various pathways consistent with the Kingdom's Vision 2023 to strengthen the knowledge economy, a research project presented by Dr. Faris Almalki, an associate professor of aerospace telecommunication systems engineering at Taif University, was recognized as one of the best scientific research papers presented at the conference.

Dr. Almalki's research focused on nanosatellite technology, which offers fast internet and remote sensing services in off-the-grid locations.

He expressed his satisfaction at this accomplishment and emphasized that it showed the advancement of Saudi science, which the Kingdom is seeing with unrestricted backing from the Saudi leadership.
