Doha, September 27, 2023, The "Hajj Routes" Program for historical mosques, presented by the Ministry of Culture through the National Committee for Education, Culture, and Science, was officially adopted by the Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ICESCO). This significant decision was made during the 12th Conference of Ministers of Culture in the Islamic World, held in Qatar from September 25 to 26, as part of the celebration of Doha being designated as the capital of Islamic Culture for the Arab region in 2021.
The conference provided a platform to assess ICESCO's commitment to advancing cultural initiatives in alignment with its strategic vision and objectives. Additionally, it featured a comprehensive review of the Heritage Committee's report for the Islamic world and the document outlining cultural policy guidelines.
