IGY Marinas Partners with NEOM for Sindalah Island Resort

NEOM, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, IGY Marinas announced a partnership with NEOM, the international project taking shape in northwest Saudi Arabia, to build and run Sindalah, the giga-project's opulent island resort.

Sindalah will be the nearest ultra-premium superyacht marina to Europe and the Mediterranean, well positioned as a glitzy entrance to the Red Sea. The marine facility, which is anticipated to become a landmark for the global yachting community, will provide 86 berths for yachts up to 50 meters in length and extra-serviced offshore buoys for superyachts up to 180 meters.

According to Antoni Vives, Head of Urban Development at NEOM, "Sindalah will be among the world's most seductive and energetic yachting destinations because of its advantageous position, first-rate amenities, and breathtaking natural surroundings. With NEOM situated one day's cruise from the Mediterranean Sea, this relationship with IGY is just one of many measures we are taking to realize our aim of altering the worldwide yachting calendar.

IGY's special position and knowledge will assist Sindalah in achieving this objective and creating a standard for first-rate customer service. Once established, the marina will join IGY's exclusive superyacht membership program, IGY Trident, as well as their network of 23 international superyacht marinas spread across 12 countries.

"Sindalah perfectly integrates with IGY's global vision to connect the world's most incredible yachting destinations across our growing marina network," stated Tom Mukamal, CEO of IGY Marinas. Superyacht owners, captains, and charter guests now have access to destinations, services, and conveniences that are unmatched. IGY is incredibly delighted about the chance to introduce the global yachting community to this fantastic new location.

More than 2,000 marine species can be found in the Red Sea, 600 of which are unique to its waters and cannot be found anywhere else in the world. These species include dolphins, turtles, dugongs, manta rays, whale sharks, rare corals, and vibrant reef fish. On the ground, visitors to Sindalah will experience a redefined luxury island experience, with top-tier luxury accommodations like the Four Seasons and the Luxury Collection by Marriott, ground-breaking retail options, Michelin-star chef cuisine, and an exotic golf course run by IMG and designed by Robert Trent Jones.

NEOM, a groundbreaking initiative made up of four remarkable regions—the Line, Trojena, Oxagon, and Sindalah—aims to be a global leader in environmental preservation, booming commerce, and excellent livability.

Sindalah will be the first region in NEOM to receive visitors when it debuts in Q1 2024.
