Riyadh, April 13, 2024, The Board of Directors of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) convened for its second meeting on April 12-13 in Arusha, Tanzania. Among the attendees were distinguished figures including the President of the General Auditing Bureau and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Institute of Internal Auditors, Dr. Hussam bin Abdulmohsen Al-Anqari, alongside other esteemed members of the IIA Board.
During this productive session, the Council reviewed the significant activities undertaken thus far in the year and delved into crucial agenda items. As a result, numerous recommendations and decisions were formulated and agreed upon.
Looking ahead, the Council is committed to expanding its endeavors in developing professional standards and enhancing awareness regarding the vital roles played by internal auditors.
