
Riyadh, February 15, 2025 – The Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve Development Authority (IARDA) has officially licensed more than 40 tour guides following their successful completion of specialized training programs. This milestone, achieved in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, enhances guided experiences in both the Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve and the King Khalid Royal Reserve, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s commitment to sustainable ecotourism. In a statement, IARDA CEO Dr. Talal AlHarigi emphasized that ecotourism is a core pillar of the authority’s strategic vision, playing a vital role in raising environmental awareness, showcasing the Kingdom’s natural landscapes, and preserving cultural heritage and biodiversity.
He reiterated IARDA’s dedication to training and empowering skilled national tour guides, who serve as key ambassadors in connecting visitors with nature while promoting environmental sustainability.Deputy Minister of Data and Decision Support and Acting Deputy Minister of Human Capital Development at the Ministry of Tourism, Eng.
