Imam of Prophet's Mosque Leads Prayers of Worshipers in Lahore’s Royal Mosque


The Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan was present as Sheikh Dr. Salah bin Muhammad Al-Budair led the faithful in the Maghrib prayer at the Royal Mosque in Lahore, Pakistan.


Al-Budair highlighted the value of Islamic community ties and religious duties while expressing gratitude to the Pakistani people and government for their hospitality.


One of the biggest mosques in South Asia, the second biggest in Pakistan, and a prominent religious location in the nation is the Royal Mosque in Lahore.



"Lahore, August 14, 2024." Yesterday, the faithful were led in the Maghrib prayer at the Royal Mosque in Lahore, Pakistan, by Khatib and the Imam of the Prophet Sheikh Dr. Salah bin Muhammad Al-Budair. He was accompanied by Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, as part of the Imams of the Two Holy Mosques' visitation schedule organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance.Immediately following the prayer, Al-Budair issued a speech in which he thanked the ambassador and the people of Pakistan for their hospitality throughout his visit.Furthermore, he underlined the importance of religious duties and pointed out that Islam is a complete and all-encompassing religion that emphasizes personal development and communal building. In addition, he asked God to keep all Muslim countries safe and to shield the two countries from any possible harm.With 55,000 worshippers and over 95,000 in its courtyards and passages, the Royal Mosque in Lahore is the second largest mosque in Pakistan and one of the best in the country. It is also one of the largest mosques in South Asia.
