Imam of Prophet's Mosque Visits Religious Attaché Office in Pakistan


During his official tour of Pakistan, the Imam and Khatib of the Prophet's Mosque paid a visit to the Saudi Embassy located in Islamabad.


The Ministry of Islamic Affairs was thanked by Sheikh Al-Budair for its work in advancing Islam and opposing extremism.


The Religious Attaché Office contributed to the improvement of Pakistani-Saudi relations.



On August 11, 2024, the Imam and Khatib of the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah paid a visit to the Saudi Embassy in Islamabad. Sheikh Dr. Salah Al-Budair stopped at the Religious Attaché Office at the Saudi Embassy in Islamabad while on an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.Sheikh Al-Budair was accompanied on his tour by the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony of Pakistan, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, and representatives of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Minorities Affairs.Sheikh Al-Budair conveyed his appreciation to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance for their endeavors to carry out campaigns and initiatives via their attachés overseas to propagate the Islamic faith, encourage temperance and tolerance, and oppose radicalism and extremism. Additionally, he commended the Religious Attaché Office's contribution to fortifying ties between the two nations, which are regarded as brothers.
