Imam of the Prophet's Mosque Honors Winners of Zambia International Quran Memorization Competition



Lusaka, September 29, 2024 - In a grand ceremony held at the Islamic University in Lusaka, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Mohsen bin Muhammad Al-Qasim, the Imam and Sermon Performer of the Prophet's Mosque, paid tribute to the winners of the 13th Zambia International Quran Memorization and Recitation Competition. The esteemed gathering was attended by Sheikh Youssef Ibrahim, President of the Islamic University in the Republic of Zambia, as well as numerous prominent Islamic figures.


The competition, which has been a hallmark of excellence in Quranic memorization and recitation for over a decade, drew participants from multiple countries. This year's event saw a remarkable turnout of talented individuals who demonstrated their mastery of the Holy Quran through various branches of the competition.
