Riyadh, May 12, 2024, The Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) has announced the arrival of representatives of Guinea-Bissau Brig. Gen. Suiboua Camara Brigadier General Amara Camara, the presidency's Secretary General, and Lt. Col. Anfli Ganti to the coalition's headquarters.
IMCTC Secretary-General Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi said that the arrival of Guinea-Bissau representatives at the coalition headquarters and their work alongside their counterparts from member states is a positive step by the government of Guinea-Bissau's leadership and reflects its awareness of the necessity of international participation in combating terrorism and rejecting violent extremism. He wished them success in carrying out their duties.
Al-Moghedi also referred to the significant role entrusted to representatives of member states in serving the coalition and its strategic initiatives in combating terrorism.
IMCTC includes 42 member states that work together to coordinate, unify, and support intellectual and media efforts, endeavours to combat anti-terrorism financing, and military efforts with a high degree of efficiency and effectiveness in partnership with friendly countries and international organizations concerned with combating terrorism.
