Abidjan, March 1, 2025 – In a significant move to combat terrorism financing and money laundering in West Africa, the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) launched a comprehensive training program today in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. The initiative, titled “Countering Terrorism Financing and Money Laundering,” is designed to strengthen the capacity of relevant institutions in the region to tackle one of the most pressing security threats facing global peace and stability.
The launch ceremony, held in the Ivorian capital, was attended by key figures, including the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire’s Minister of Digital Transition and Digitalization, Ibrahim Kalil Konaté, and IMCTC Secretary-General Maj.
