The Impact Makers Forum (ImpaQ) opened in Diriyah, Riyadh, under the patronage of Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary, attracting over 1,500 global influencers, experts, and content creators, with a focus on creativity, innovation, and community development.

Riyadh, December 19, 2024 – Under the esteemed patronage of Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary, the highly anticipated Impact Makers Forum (ImpaQ) opened today in Diriyah, marking a monumental gathering of over 1,500 influencers, experts, and content creators from around the globe. The forum, taking place at the Diriyah Arena, aims to spotlight the transformative role of influence in today's world, celebrating innovation, creativity, and community development. The grand opening was highlighted by a modern theatrical performance titled "The Butterfly Effect," which encapsulated the forum's message of change and progress in various fields of influence.

In his address to the diverse and dynamic audience, Minister Al-Dossary emphasized the significant impact of influencers, stressing the importance of leveraging their platforms and voices to inspire creativity and stimulate both social and economic development. He underscored the alignment of the forum with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, spearheaded by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, a vision that has inspired global change and progress. “Vision 2030 is a vision that has inspired the world and created impact,” Al-Dossary noted, highlighting the immense potential of influence in shaping the future.

The Minister further elaborated on the concept of influence, expanding it beyond the digital realm. "Influence can be a single word from a passerby that might forever change someone's life for the better," he said, reflecting on the power of everyday moments and interactions that shape individuals and societies. He acknowledged that influence exists in various forms, from a street vendor working to support his family to a mother who instills vital values in her children. "It is not confined to platforms and screens alone," he added. Al-Dossary's speech resonated deeply with attendees, emphasizing that the forum is a celebration of all those who have shaped and influenced lives, regardless of their background or medium.

The Impact Makers Forum, the largest of its kind in the Kingdom, is hosted at a sprawling 23,000-square-meter venue and is organized into three main areas: "Innovation Space," which hosts panel discussions and major events; "Impact Space," where influencers share their personal and professional journeys of influence; and "Lab Space," dedicated to creative and technical workshops. Over the course of its two-day run, the forum will feature more than 40 diverse activities spanning 14 key areas, including media, artificial intelligence, sports, tourism, and culture. This extensive agenda is designed to foster collaboration, spark new ideas, and inspire attendees with success stories from a wide range of fields.

With over 30,000 visitors expected, ImpaQ has quickly become a premier platform for knowledge exchange and networking, bringing together global influencers and thought leaders to showcase their expertise and achievements. In collaboration with the Saudi Tourism Authority, special tours will also be organized for international influencers to highlight Saudi Arabia's unique cultural and historical appeal. The event's opening ceremony was streamed digitally to an audience of over one million viewers worldwide, further extending its reach and influence across borders.

As the forum continues throughout the day, attendees will engage in a series of panel discussions, workshops, and interactive sessions, offering valuable opportunities for professional growth and cross-cultural exchange. With its dynamic and interactive atmosphere, the Impact Makers Forum reinforces Saudi Arabia’s growing role as a global hub for inspiration, innovation, and influence, solidifying the Kingdom's leadership in the digital age.
